World Jean-Pierre Adams, Footballer Who Has Been In Coma Since 1982 Dies After 39-Years

The former French International defenderwas confirmed dead this morning at the age of 73.

He has been in coma since 1982 following a botched knee operation.

The Senegalese born former French player Jean-Pierre Adams went into coma when he visited a Lyon hospital to undergo a routine knee operation.

The doctor gave him anaesthetic to keep him asleep for few hours to enable the operation but after 39 years he was still asleep.

The wife whom he married in 1969 used to visit him frequently in the hospital for over 3 decades till the hospital told her they can no longer keep him there.

Bernadette Adams brought his sleeping husband home were she was watchinghim sleep hoping he would wake up in her life time.

Unfortunately Jean-Pierre Adams has passed away at the age of 73 in September 2021
